And in case anyone was interested if seeing a side floor kit works, it does! You'll need a plunge router, dremmel metal and wood cutting wheels though. It's a universal side floor kit. So measure twice, cut once.

The fit kit comes with both sides. Just be careful when measuring before cutting.

ARB Drawers INSTALLED!
Just got a set of these installed, using two preinstalled Riv Nuts and adding two more in the front of the trunk, near the back seats. I didn't use a wood interface like above, just the ARB spacers and straight into the RivNuts. Took a full afternoon to get them in but they feel solid and look pretty good.

Biggest draw back to these drawers is they are not full extension. Not a deal breaker as the build quality and feel is good, but still a shame in 2020 when so may full extension slides are available.

Great thread for anyone interested in the ARB Drawer System. I'll be installing my ARB Drawers next week and this thread is perfect. I talked to ARB/USA on the phone yesterday and they mentioned that they plan on releasing a 5th Gen 4 Runner Floor Side Kit around January or February of 2021. A little too far out for me so I ordered the Universal Floor Kit and I'll make my alterations on those.
Jason thank you SOOOOO much for the measurements. It made install much easier.
I did the front 2 drilled out holes in the rear and then 4 rivnuts with bolts on the front crossmember.
Also used 40mm of spacers in the frear and 10mm on each in the front.

Did you not use a plywood base plate on your install? The drawers look a little lower than if you used a 3/4" piece of wood to attach the drawers to.

Does anyone know what size bolt are used for the rear two tray mounting holes? I drilled out the pot metal and located the threaded mounting holes using the measurements from this thread. Possibly M8?
Update: The two tray mounting holes are threaded for M10 bolts. The length of the bolt will depend on how your drawer system is mounted.

I’m about to install mine. I’m not exactly sure why the 3/4 plywood is even needed. Is it because the factory 4runner mounting points don’t lineup with the drawers? If they do, why not just use the provided ARB spacers instead of cutting wood and all that?
Also for the guys that used the 3/4 plywood. Did you rest it on the foam or is the foam removed and replaced by the plywood?
Last question..... is this the correct layering
Starting from the bottom. Sound deadening(optimal) foam, plywood and then factory carpet?

you need a base plate (such as plywood) to mount the drawers to the body, as the mounting holes do not line up. You will want to make sure your drawer system is bolted down, for both safety on and offroad.
Whether or not you decide to remove the foam is up to you. I choose to remove mine when i added my goose gear base plate. Most noise will come from what you put inside of the drawers, not from the road or from the drawers.
I used the plywood in lieu of the ARB spacers. I secured the plywood base directly on top of the carpet and left the foam in place. I did remove the angled part of the carpet to help keep the plywood level.
I drilled holes through the carpet & foam so my mounting bolts go through without any issues. I recessed the holes that mounted the plywood to the floor so the bolt and washer was flush to the top of the plywood. That way it did not interfere with the ARB drawer frame.
