Was going to put this in the "what did you do today" thread but figured it might be nice to have it archived independently in case other people become interested in this.
Test-fitted an ARB extended fridge slide today in a non-third row equipped 4Runner. I took measurements before I ordered but wanted to confirm fitment before drilling into the body for install. This slide fits remarkably well, it's almost as if ARB built this specifically for the 5th Gens.
I've included some pictures. I had removed the front piece of plastic trim on the cargo deck to see what I'm dealing with regarding mounting so that's what that is all about. There is a good 1/2-3/4" of clearance between the rear hatch and rear seat when fitted with a Scepter MWC. I plan on using some steel spacers and hardened washers to spread the load out. Once I get it installed I'll report back. Also, please disregard all the dog hair, I know I need to vacuum!
