Make sure they will warranty even though you didn't buy locker from them. Most shops won't do this because of liability. You could be giving them a Chinese locker.

Did you guys get tracking #'s when your items were shipped?
My order states completed/shipped but I have no tracking #. This is about the time of year where criminals follow delivery trucks after dropping packages off,and walking off with them. I wanna make sure myself or a neighbor can retrieve my package for me.

I got a tracking number from the website. The email did not include a tracking number.

I called them and spoke with Stephen. He sent me an email of my invoice that has the tracking number. When I log into the website,my order sheet doesn't state the tracking number. I'm all good now. Should be arriving tomorrow.

yeah i got that... i had been monitoring this thread for a while, and helping others out on their decision and letting them know what was and was not needed with lockers ect.
yeah i know... but my point was, the actual ability to purchase was very limited. this should have been open for at least two weeks, not everyone gets paid on the same day or on the same week...
i had inquired as to when the group buy was going to be closed, and only given a date for the opening. next time i looked at it, it was closed... i figured it would be open for at least a couple weeks. there was a reason i asked for the dead line. that way i knew when i had to make the purchase by to get in on this. and opening date isnt really all that important, a closing date on the other hand is a little bit more useful to people, hence my asking;
most group buys i have ever been a apart of give dates of them, and have been multiple weeksif its only gonna be one week they let everyone know. again typically its been 2 or more weeks and thats info that is put out clearly to every interested
maybe a hint for the OP to next time get a little smoother GB. though this was not through ARB directly and ARB does not do group buys to my understanding. -it appears a good amount of info was left out of this one

Page 1, 7 lines down. Its says GB ends November 17. Credit cards may of helped you out.

How dare the OP not divine our uncommon financial beliefs and total lack of planning or savings! Doesn't OP know that Dave Ramsey says specifically to live paycheck to paycheck and not save!
Also he should definitely have told east coast how to run their business and demanded two weeks, maybe even a month for those of us who get paid monthly. The nerve of OP to do all this unpaid work and not meet all of our unspoken expectations!

Yeah I think you miss the point douche... Simply put out the information and details to everyone up front. Make sure everyone is on the same page. ECGS has no obligation to conform to anyone. The OP had no obligation to do this true, but he did, he should have been more thorough and answered questions people had.
I had the money saved I could have easily bought several lockers had I wanted to. My point is there was never a clear posting on the end date even after it was inquired about. Important details were left out. Does no one else see this or am I just ****ing high and way out ta line here with my observation. I'm not trashing the OP and for those who think I am, get bent! I'm simply trying to give constructive criticisms on this after the fact. -if you read my sig you'd see that I'm already dual locked and geared... This was no sweat off my back, yeah I missed out here, big deal I have multiple friends who work for ARB, so again I'm at no loss here. Just like the OP going out of his way to set this up, I'm going out of mine to try and improve things for the future and other group buys.
The rest of you just keep *****ing to to ***** and argue about chit you have no intentions of helping with or making better. Hats off to you

This assumes he had the info upfront. I choose to assume OP gave us the end date as soon as he learned it (when ecgs sent the link) and that ECGS chose to have it only be a week.
You are correct, mocking you was unnecessary, rude, and douchey (sp?), and I'll take it down if you want.
People generally don't view unsolicited public criticism as constructive. Especially on the Internet and after the fact. There some exceptions but this generally true.

I will say that some will continue to feel you were perhaps not as well meaning as you claim. Blight's polite comments were met with what appears on a forum page as angry rants and his innocent mention of CCs was met with what looks like heavy sarcasm culminating in the "debt is dumb" quote, this colored your original comment on the length of the group buy in a negative light and is where I misunderstood your good intentions. I do realize though that written comments frequently sound more severe than intended and should have allowed for that.
I apologize again for mocking you. It was unnecessary, mean and in this case hypocritical.
