ARB locker price

I wasn't exactly sure where to ask this question.

My son is ready to purchase an ARB rear locker for his 07 4Runner. Anyone know of any deals (i.e. free compressor) or sales going on so he can try to save a few bucks?

Thank You,
Ryan

Those sales/deals seem to come and go… and they do change it up every once in a while too.

Perhaps reach out to one of the forum vendors, maybe they can do something to sweeten the deal. That said, if you are not doing the work yourself, I would talk with the shop about how they would handle a warranty concern or issue with a customer supplied part. From my own research I found it would be best to source everything from the installer.

Ok thanks for the advice.

Yeah, the free compressor deal is usually during tax return season, like Feb/Mar/Apr.

You might be able to find a good deal during black Friday, here in a few months.

The compressor they give away (or at least the one they gave away during the last promotion) is only good for activating the locker. I installed a locker a few months ago figured that since I was going to have to install air, I would put a compressor in that I could use to inflate the tires as well.

I know, this is more expensive and basically the opposite of what you're asking, but if you can't find the free compressor deal, I wouldn't get the small one.

I would run two compressors no matter what, I like the idea of a small dedicated compressor for lockers only.

Can you always install a 3-way valve on the air line to use the tire fill compressor as a backup / redundancy for lockers. For critical systems, one is none.

Plus, if you run a tank for OBA, you don't have to wait for things to fill before activating lockers.

When my son ordered his locker he also bought the middle of the pack ARB compressor, which he can use as a back up source for airing up tires. But we all use a Power Tank for that purpose.
