I have been pretty apprehensive about manufacturers using sealed transmissions mainly because I feel like you cannot properly service it.
I say this because I've been taught that it is good to change a new transmissions oil early because during that break-in is when most of the metal shavings occur.
Today I was thinking about it and it occured to me that maybe manufacturers already run their sealed transmissions thru this break-in and drain process prior to installing them in our cars. Do you guys think this is likely?
