I'm looking to lift my '05 V8 4x4 about 3" and level it. I don't have much $$$ and can't afford a full suspension lift right now, but I don't really want to use spacers. So I think I have decided to go with new coils in the front (and maybe the rear too).
I want to keep my stock shocks on there for a bit longer (I'm at 86k miles on them now and can probably use them for another 10-15k miles), but I am due for new tires pretty soon. I want to go for some larger-than-stock tires and already have Spidertrax for them, so the lift is the next step.
Will the front or rear coils from a Sequoia fit on the 4Runner? If so, how much lift would they provide?
I have been looking at getting OME 884 coils with the Toytec top spacer too. If I go this route, will I need to get new rear coils to keep it level?
What are my other options that will stay within my under $400 budget.
Thanks for your help in advance.
