Are the Fenders of the 1988 Truck and 1988 4Runner (first gen) the same?

I can say the answer's yes after reading this thread:

Are they compatible? Am I missing something?

They are the exact same fenders and will fit fine as long as its a 4wd fender. Just dont use a 2wd fender. The 2wd fender will fit but looks a lil different.

They interchange between 4WD truck and 4Runner but fitment is hit or miss with them. My passenger side fits perfectly but the driver side needed massaging to line up and set the gap. The screw holes for the parking lights did not line up at all. I would have returned it and rolled the dice on a new one had I not made the mistake of painting it before test fitting.

I assume based on the second link, he was looking at aftermarket. Unless he's eyeing some used ones, originals are NLA.

Should have clarified that the Evan Fischer fenders are hit or miss.
