In person, the black lights look kind of anti-ricey. They have more of an aggressive look to them, kind of like the stock lights on some trucks. When you see a runner side by side with the stock lights vs the black lights, the one with the black lights look more aggressive, yet still stock. I don't know if the knockoff ones look as good in person as the OEM Toyota ones, but the Toyota ones look great.

Did you ever get around to trying to fix the gap as you said? Me being interested may sway on if the fit is the same as OEM. I am picky as hell and would not be satisfied with any noticable difference side to side. I also wish someone had more long term test on how these things last with the issue of fading. I guess i am interested, but still cannot say for sure. so...

Yup, I fixed 'em. Just needed to file the hole 1mm larger, and now it fits snuggly.
