Are they getting fed up in Chicago?

Will it matter given the corruption in the government? They're gonna need outside help at the very least to bring about any positive change.

How can the rest of us help them?

I watched the video. Its just local politics. Citizens fed up with the democrats THEY elected. Fed up with the policies of Ron Emanual and the President.

In Chicago they are closing quite a few schools and consolidating the staffs, laying off those whom are deemed redundant.

Its very controversial because those schools, even the ones that are failure factories and viewed by some voters to be necessary because of the jobs they provide local residents.

Personnally I'm for school reform. The system we have now is where federal tax dollars (my money from CA where we recieve less than we pay in) goes out to local school districts and then then local administrator, sometimes corrupt, use it however they please. It is a system of local control but federal funds.
