Asfir 4x4 Aluminum Skid Plate, front and tranny.4th gen 4Runner and FJ Cruiser.
1st the pictures below are borrowed from "Ludedude" cause my camera died. i have a new front skid and the tranmission from ASFIR and love them, they are made from 1/4" thick 5052 aluminum.front skid 23 lbs, and transmission 15 lbs. i got them for $500 + shipping, now want to sell them for $430 + roughly $40-50 for shipping cost or pick them up in Abilene TX.
Reason: i bough them for my 4Runner V8 but can only use the front and NOT the transmission skid. the tranny skid ONLY fit on 4Runner V6 and FJ cruiser, didn't want to let them go but i go with the budbuild and they are NOT compatible.pics below.
NOTE: THE FRONT FIT '03-09 ALL MODEL (V6 AND V8), THE TRANSMISSION FIT '03-09 V6 MODEL. THIS ALSO FIT FJ CRUISER FRONT AND TRANSMISSION.
- The tranny skid is still in the box.
- The front was install on the truck for 2 days with NO drive so it basicly new.
