Assembling strut, does this look okay? Moog spring on 5100

These springs are supposedly fj cruiser 81108. Did they send the wrong ones? Or would just slam them in like this?

The spring looks like it's correct on the perch. It appears like the rubber mount at the top should be turned a slight amount so that the head of the bolt fits into the recessed area of the rubber isolator. That's the way I see it from your pictures.

Doesn't matter where you rotate the spring with them isolators, they are soft and will create that look.
Mine got cut through with 885s after 3 yrs.

Consider poly isolators, will hold up longer.

I'll have to take a look but I swear both the OEM and the replacement Tacoma springs I installed had that spring top ground down just a bit. Your photos look like they cut it with an axe. The end is kind of mushroomed...eeek..

I have a couple sets of coils...
The OEM(stock), OME 886 And Rancho are all ground flat.

The Moog FJC I have on the runner now are like the ones in the pic.
Seems to work ok.
