For those of you who have the rola rack , kit is now available from armortechoffroad for 69$ ! These lower the rack so it doesn't ride so high . Thanks to Ark who originally spotted these over on 120 , lonoooong time ago !!

I installed mine this weekend. It lowered it alot, maybe a little too much because it was touching the roof in multiple areas. That's ok I just went to home depot and got some of those little clear rubber bumpers that go in the inside of cabinet doors. I stuck them to the roof in the questionable areas. All fixed! I didn't measure but I would say it lowered it at least 2". Looks alot better and the noise/drag on the freeway was reduced considerably.

Hey vegastoy how many did you need ?
If your referring to the little bumper pads? I bought 2 16 packs they were $3 each pack. I put them under every crossbar even if they weren't touching I figured they might when it's loaded down. I also have a rotopack mount and c02 tank bracket bolted to it so I needed some for those bolts also. I can try to take some pics tonight and post them up.

A big thanks to you for following up on this. I was very disappointed when I couldn't get a response from ATO, and even more so when my DIY solution was a total fail. I'm not sure at this point if I'll get one or not, may end up selling the rack.
I'll also mention that in the original thread, those with sunroofs and the rack extension had contact issues when tilting the sunroof up. To gain clearance, you can flip the bracket over. This raises the rack back up some, but still a pretty good drop over mounting directly on the OEM cross bars.

Anyone know if this would work for the Curt Rack?
Got mine and installed it. Took me about 20 minutes after figuring out how to take out the cross members. I love how it sits now. I also threw some circular felt pads under some of the bars because of how it actually sits on the roof. I got the idea from another member doing it also.

How did you wire those lights up on the rack? I want to do the same with Hella 500s. And how did you run the wires? (Any pics?)
