I'm running the Tokico shocks with LC 8-wraps
I skipped the LC centering washer and made a sleeve out of copper pipe to act as a shaft bushing/collar to center the shock in the 11/16" pocket hole. I greased the LC rubber bushings and filed the copper sleeve edges so the rubber bushings would climb over the sleeve. This mod added no height allowing the nut to start easily.
I also found I was able to start the nut with my hand from below, and then tighten it from above - there's a hole in the rear cargo floor of my 99 that's covered with a super -sticky white vinyl above each rear shock pocket that I was able to get a 17mm socke.on a wobble extension to tighten the nut to bottom out on the shock stud step.
