Audio question

Hi fellow T4R members. I have a 2012 limited with JBL and navigation. I have a dash speaker that emits a squeaking noise when the audio is playing. I want to replace them and understand that it can be done but some of the treads here point to speaker that seem to be no longer available. Looking for speaker models that are verified to work with JBL and are available AND add to the sound over stock. Also maybe if you used an adapter like taco tunes etc.
Thank you

Thanks but was hoping more for verified speaker installs in a JBL equipped 4runner.
If you read thru some of the posts, they say the speakers didnt work or needed other equipment to make work.

Have you had the door card off to inspect the speaker and wiring itself? You may find that one or both of the terminals are dirty or corroded and causing a ground issue that is responsible for your noise. If the speaker and wiring are both in good shape then your issue likely doesn't come from the speaker itself but from the amplifier/pre amplifier section of the JBL system. In general a speaker only emits the signal its being given, so if both the speaker and wiring are in good shape then the problem is most likely further upstream. Hope that helps a little bit.
