Austin-area 5th Gens

Planning on a weekend in the Austin area, where's a good spot to camp with nice water and good views?

New to the 4Runner world, with my first one arriving in 2 weeks, Trail Premium. Looking forward to getting out there and meeting some good folks! Have heard good things about Hidden Falls.

What's the FB group you all are referencing?
 
I live in Leander. I would definitely join if y'all went to hidden falls if my schedule permits. Send me a PM or mention me in a post if y'all go.

I might be the only modded Limited 5th Gen in the Austin area. I have yet to see another modded Limited in person.

My schedule basically sucks a$$ (demanding/unpredictable job & young kiddos)... but we should really try to do something as a group at least like once a year. It’d be a great excuse to get my young son out for some fresh air and camping down in the Hill Country. I head down that way every year for F1 and MotoGP; love the Austin area.

Hey, another Austin'er here. I really have only seen 1 or 2 modded 4Runners around here. I haven't modded my Limited yet either though as I'm still under warranty (just can't make myself do it).

I do have some Shrockwork sliders sitting the garage waiting for the weather to cool off. Was going to Daystar lift it until the xreas wore out but I may reconsider.

I don't plan on doing any rock climbing though, mostly Big Bend backtrail type stuff.

Same here. It's my DD, so just can't bring myself to building it into a serious off-road machine. Plus, I'm running P-metric (still).... So would want to try and keep it light/mild trails.

Saturday at hidden falls. Most show up at 9-10 and meet at area B. If you want to go you may wanna join the fb page on this thread. :)

We will see you soon I imagine. I can't be out there anyway due to work and then a family reunion. I need to do a little maintenance to my vehicle before I am comfortable beating it around out there right now anyway.
