As of right now, my wife and I are planning to be out there Sunday morning. If there is a group meeting, let me know what time. We will be in a mostly stock 4R Trail Premium (no-KDSS) that is my only vehicle. We have to take it to Colorado next month. So, I have an aversion to driveline damage.

I will be ripping out parts of my interior tomorrow (Saturday) morning to add my dark room lights and measure for my cargo solutions. The only reason I would not make it on Sunday is if I can't get her back together in time. It's a battle, but I am pretty confident I will win(ish)...

Do you live in Boerne? We are meeting at the park about 8-8:15 to allow air down time and be at area B around 8:30-ish. Plenty of trail heads off of that area. If you live in Boerne then I would allocate around 2 hours to get there

Don't worry about driveline damage.. we aren't going nuts or anything. Just don't give it a lot of gas if your front wheels don't have grip to avoid breaking a CV.

Not sure If I can make 830am. That is a bit early for my lazy ass on a Sunday. You guys have CBs or Ham? Pick a channel. Cell phones generally don't work once out on the trails...


I'll post here tomorrow if I'm on my way.

So 8am at Hidden Falls on Sunday?

I have a stock LE (still stock tires too sadly) but this will be a good primer before we head out to Big Bend later this year.

Lol. I don't have a HAM or CB installed but most of what we will do should have service. I just got t mobile so I doubt I will but I came from Verizon so I know most of that will. You can text me when you get there.

Never heard a response on a CB channel.....

Why you guys so set on starting super early. The rocks will be a little slick in the early am hours with the dewpoint and humidity. It gets much better about 10am.

I was trying to piece together a stock friendly route in my mind. I have one or two possible ideas, but it's 4 hrs max....

[MENTION=141906]PWD4R[/MENTION] you do realize the fence line is no longer an option. Below is a pic of my buddy on the fence line a few weeks ago. That exact spot used to be doable in a stock 4runner. It's totally different now and there is no bypass.
