Auto 2wd to manual 4x4 swap...

Anything I'm obviously missing? Mine is a 97 4cyl 2wd, from a 96 taco, 4cyl 4wd. I'm not doing the 4wd install till the tranny is all buttoned up. Thanks for any help in advance

Cross member is going to be the biggest issue for you as it won't be bolt in.





Don't for get the interior trim parts.

Harness plugs for the back-up light on the trans and the two position switches on the TC. Small items, but a pain if you don't have them. (Also for the position switch on front diff, eventually.) You only need the back-up light plug to do the 2wd.
