[?] Auto Body shop in Sacramento CA,

So long story short. I was coming home from work & a 1998 Toyota Tacoma 2WD rear ended my 4runner going about 50 MPH

There is not to much body damage done to my 4runner but the Tacoma looked to be totaled. I am having a few lower back pains but I am sure this will heal soon " I hope so".

I am looking for a good body shop in the Sacramento CA, area to do the work on my 4runner. I was hopping to find a shop that would not use OEM bumpers & go after market if the price was cheaper & what not.

I hope my healing process is short & sweet as I miss doing carpentry work & it has only been a few days scenes the auto accident ( 09/08/2009)

I will post images up of the damage done to the back end of the 4runner once these pain pills kick it :bigok:

The driver that hit my 4runners insurance came out & gave me a quote on how much it would be to replace the damages & it was $2,800.00

I am sorry to hear about your incident, However it would be fraudulent for any bodyshop to replace parts other than what was damaged (I.E. tubular bumpers instead of o.e.m. Unless they just cut you a check). Also do not trust thier insurance quote, they are looking out for thier own best interest, most body shops will give free estimates, do not get ripped off by thier insurance!!!

The auto insurance is going to cut me the check to get the work done but how ever I will be getting a quote done at a few body shops in my area.

There are many bodyshops along Franklin Blvd, Freeport Blvd, and in south sacramento. Bodyshops near downtown(Broadway) are expensive. Average per hr rates $75 - $120.

I've never been in an accident, but have my spoiler installed at Duane'S Body and Paint in Belleau Wood Ln near Freeport Blvd airport..

If you dont mind going up the hill a little bit, up in Cameron Park is a GREAT body shop that I have and our shop uses for all of our stuff. Its called Solis Collision Center. Great people to work with

Folsom Auto Body in Rancho is good. I would suggest going to get some expensive quotes and cash out from there. Golden State Collision, Gamboas, etc. I did that with my 99 SR5...cashed out then bought a 99 Limited. I would also make sure there isn't any fame damage on the quarter panels per NAAA. That's gonna kill the value of your ride. Good luck...

i had Gamboas look at my jeep wrangler prior to it being totaled. they valued my jeep out at $16k when i only paid $7k for it :boink::bravo:
