Auto Door locks programming 02 4Runner

I have a 2002 4Runner Limited. The doors currently don't lock when you put it in gear. I am confident that it can be changed. My wife drives the car and she would like them to lock automatically.

I have looked through the owners manual and find nothing about changing the set-up.

Can someone tell me how to program so the doors will lock automatically?

No, never figured it out and everything I tried did not work. I gave up.

That's funny.
I just got an '04 and I hate that the doors auto-lock.
Doesn't bother when I'm driving,
but I hate getting out only to find all of the other four doors are locked.
If anyone figures out the answer to the OP, perhaps it would help me!

EDIT!!!

After someone suggested reading the owner's manual (duh!)
I fixed the problem in about 5-minutes.
