Hello, i'm having a hard time finding a rear hatch for my 3rd gen in the color gold. I have gone online and noticed quite a bit of these parts locators have a bad reputation. One place said they have it over the phone and I hesitated and he immediately stated I must buy now for free shipping and if not, I would have to pay shipping. I told him I don't appreciate being pressured like that.
I have received a lot of emails from various "locators" but decided to search for "complaints" before responding to their offers. It seems some have a lot of complaints.
I received an email from AutoWorldBodyParts which was referred by PartRequest.com. PartRequest.com has one review that stated the business is a scam. I could only find one complaint for autoworldbodyparts and that issue appears to have been resolved. I find it odd there are no other comments/reviews for this business. The email read that they have a used clean complete gold tailgate for $715.00 and for more info to please call Lucy.
If anyone has experience with AutoWorldBodyParts at Auto World Body Parts 833 N. Beltline Rd. Irving, TX or live near and can see it's an actual store, please let me know. I tried looking for it walking around online on a street view map and could not find it.
