Notice: Whats underlined and in Bold is the actual issue im having but everything before that is an introduction of what was going on
So how do i start this off. First off if you live in St. Marys county Maryland do not go to this guy. I heard great things about this guy like "He is the only mechanic i trust" "I do everything with him" "i get all my parts from him" So i was like ok this guy is legit. So i went there he is a menonite "men in knight" he works out of his garage with his son. Well i took it there came back the next day. I had my Timing belt, water pump, idler pullys and a O2 Sensor replaced. Granted his son did all the work on my truck. So i drove my truck out of his drive way heard a rubbing noise had my dad drive it. he immeditaly stopped and was like its really loud. so we went to the front right tire where the noise was. The lug nuts were not even HAND TIGHTEND! they werent even snug...one lug nut fell off while i was leaving. we went back they hand tightend left..came back still made the noise. The Rear brake with the sheet metal was bent and rubbing on the drum itself. So they re-bent it. Fixed. Ok so 2 days later my truck when it first starts up will idle fine and it rolls fine once you get off the break. BUT as soon as you get on the accelerator it wont get past 2,000 RPM and if i give it gas the engine will make popping noises and still gets up to about 20 MPH. So i have to find somewhere to pull over turn it off and turn it back on and just floor it to get it past 2,000 and it struggles to do that. Any ideas of whats wrong i have been told the timing was off. Im not sure.
