auto trans problem

I was noticing today that from a roll, the transmission does not seem to kick into gear and move the car until hits 2000 RPM or so. I have always done regular fluid changes. Is there any common problem that could cause this, or adjustment to make it go away?

tranny cooler in the rad is prone to fail may wanna look into that
