R rdorman New member Feb 7, 2009 #1 i have a 1993 runner. sometime when i come to a stop the tran seems like it is still in 4th, i manually put it into 1st with the shifter and it goes into 1st and i'am on my way. but it does not happen all the time. could it be my ECM? Last edited: Feb 7, 2009

buckz6319 New member Feb 12, 2009 #2 could be your solenoids sticking or going bad Just a guess but it could be your solenoids acting up or sticking look them up in your FSM It will show you how to clean them and test them Dwayne
