Autobahn i3 ceramic tint

Anybody have this tint on their vehicle? Or perhaps any other tint by Autobahn Performance Films?

I was originally planning to go with Huper Optik ceramic, but the only shop in town that carries HO told me it would look goofy on a silver 4Runner with rear privacy glass. Apparently the HO looks silvery/reflective on the outside, and would look odd with the rear windows smoked from the factory. He talked me into the i3 nano-ceramic.

It looks really good to me, just wanted to see if anyone else has experience good or bad. The shop has a great reputation locally. They have a demonstration display where you can feel how well each type of tint protects you from infrared. Couldn't feel ANY heat through the i3 or the HO ceramic.

ceramic tint is the best tint you can get put on, atleast from all the years of having tint.

there is a difference in the thickness and quality, metallic tints is cheaper.

depending on state law, you can go as dark on the rear, and i think your states says the front need to allow 35% of light through.

i would do front 15 to 25 darkness, but here in cali 30 is still pushing it.

My preference is for the clear 3M films. One adds security making break-ins more difficult.

I drive at night, snowstorms and rain. No interest in dark tint.

Added the clear 3M film to the windshield too. Makes a huge difference in glare reduction and reducing solar gain.

Still have a couple weeks until my appointment, but as of now I'm leaning toward 33% on the front door windows (basically a 35%), 40% on the rear privacy glass, and clear ceramic (probably HO 85%) on the windshield. The guy said 33% on the front door windows should look uniform with 40% on the rear privacy glass.

I already have some 40% tint on the front door windows right now, courtesy of the original dealer installing it prior to the sale, which I now have to pay to have removed :rant:. I wouldn't mind something a bit darker.

Fun day at the tint shop.

Autobahn i3 nano-ceramic: 33% on front door windows, 40% on all privacy glass.

Madico Black Pearl nano-ceramic: 75% (clear) on the windshield.

$745 out the door. Looks pretty dark from the outside, but it really doesn't seem dark from the inside, even driving at night.
