Automatic air conditioning controls

I have a '99 limted 4runner and my display on my air and heater controls went out. Can i buy the piece somewhere without going to Toyota. All the buttons and controls work, but not the display so i don't know what temp the air, heat, or outside is. Iam sure i have to buy the whole control panel

Why are you sure you have to buy the whole control panel. You might have a bad regulator or other solid state component. All it would take is a bad capacitor. The actual display rarely fails completely. Any technicians among your friends?

my buttons were sticking and you have to push hard to get them to work. i pushed a little to hard and i enden up cracking the inside of the display with my knuckle.

I guess I would try a wrecking yard.
