Aux audio no longer working.

I play my iPhone music through the aux port. It stopped working. It still recognizes the aux cord is there — you can’t put the head unit into AUX mode without a connected cord. But no sound comes through anymore. The phone is set to play through it (no other choice). I tried replacing the aux cord just now. No difference.

Other than a broken head unit is there something else it may be that I haven’t thought of?

For me it was actually the music player/ iphone itself. I started having issues with the audio. Bought 3 different audio cables before i realized that wasnt the problem. Id confirm that your iphone or however youre piping the iphone through the aux in hasnt gone before trying to look at the wiring and the headunit in the car. Though taking the bezel around the shifter knob out isnt that bad
