Aux input

Edit*** I now see this AUX input is the piece that goes inside the center console. D´oh!!!

Just bought a 4th gen. PO had some sort of XM radio system hooked up to the factory head unit, which was hooked up to a sub and amp in the hatch area. Everything was missing except for the wiring coming out of the dash. I also found a RCA filter under the gear shift area. The XM power was coming from a disassembled cigarette socket power adapter that was rigged into the cig fuse behind the interior fuse panel.

I'm never gonna use XM or Sirius or whatever the PO was running so I'm taking the wiring out cuz it looked tacky coming out of the dash.

Anyways, with everything removed I'm left with an AUX input module which I believe is a 57014 Doorman that was under the gear shift area. It looks like it should fit where one of the blank rocker switches are, but it doesn't fit.

Do I need a different AUX input connecter to fit into this area?

you just need a switch blank cover to cover those up and get rid of that aux, the aux is actually inside the center console.
