FWIW, I can still buy gas labeled No Alcohol at the Casey's stores here in Cedar Rapids, Iowa right in the middle of big corn country. You do pay a very stiff premium for it, but us fly over country folks also realize how the leaner ethanol mixes make air cooled engines run much hotter. I am willing to pay the extra for my lawn and garden equipment to prolong engine life and the 4R gets a tankful once in a while also. It does get better mileage, but not enough to justify the exorbitant price every fill-up. I do run it more often in the cold winter months as it also starts a little better than the alcohol mix. A pal that has an E85 capable vehicle says he won't use that stuff when it gets cold here either as he had starting issues when the temp dropped below 0°F.
