Car and Driver just did a year wrap up of their time with a 2005 Taco Quad Cab. They liked it but had issues with spongy brakes over the time they had the vehicle. They swapped out the front OEM pads for Axxis Ultimates and netted not only better pedal modulation and feel but also a 7 foot improvement in braking performance all while running OEM sized tires.
Just wanted to pass along the good news. Granted this isnt on a T4R but it shows that the Axxis pads do make a difference and tis why i run them front and rear on my rig.
