I've been wanting to do a build thread, but my job prevents me from doing anything enjoyable on a computer anymore. I stare at it 24/7, and when I get home, I absolutely despise being on it more. However, recently I've been so excited to see the transformation of my 4Runner.
It's somewhat pic heavy.
I bought this thing March 31, 2017, and it started life as a 2017 TRD ORP. Prior to this, I knew nothing about 4Runners (still kinda don't), and I owned a Tundra.
Within 20 days, I sent it to my local shop, Tandem Offroad (back then in Fort Worth) and they put Toytec 2.5s all the way around, total chaos upper control arms, line-x'd my front and rear valences (which is why I tore my front and rear bumper off), xenondepot LED lights up front and LEDs in the cabin, and a body chop.
Build Updated: 05/07/18
King 2.5s Extended Travel Front Coilovers with adjusters. Tandem Offroad 612 Wheels, Tandem Offroad Sliders, King Rear Extended Travel Shocks with adjusters, Total Chaos +2 Long Travel, Total Chaos Upper/Lower/Panhard links, SSO Front Slimline, McQueen Prototype Designs Fiberglass Fenders, SSO Roof Rack, Xtreme LED headlights and fogs, Rigid 30" Light Bar, Rigid Diffused Rear Reverse Lights, Rigid 40" SR lightbar, Fury Country Hunter M/Ts, Cowtown Graphics Hood Wrap, ARB Safari Snorkel, Switchpro 9100, MeanMother 9500 Winch, Factor55 flatlink, Hulk Shackles from Treaty Oak Offroad, Factor55 Rear Hitch Connector, and Toytec Superflex Springs.
Tandem Offroad, Pablo Moreno, Alexander Sopapilla Brown, Brandon Cunningham, and Thomas Boyd, did all the wrenching and alignment.
Coming soon: King Triple Bypass 2.5s, King Jounce Rear Bumpstop replacements, SSO high clearance wings
