After getting stuck at Mardi Krawl in North Alabama, as well as it appears I'm on the SE wheelin' circuit this year with stops at Mardi Krawl, Lone Star Jambo, GSMTR, Southern Cruiser Crawl, and random trips to Windrock OHV park throughout the year I decided it was time to install my ARB bumper. So yesterday was spent having the bumper installed. There are a couple of issues to take up with ARB, but overall I'm very happy with my choice of bumpers. Thanks [MENTION=66300]Intruder[/MENTION] [MENTION=68685]Ducmonsta[/MENTION] [MENTION=2636]TITAN[/MENTION]pat for the responses regarding anything from fit and finish, install obstacles, and pictures. Additionally, I have to thank everyone for not buying my bumper when it was for sale.

I went with the Warn M8000 winch with Southeast Overland synthetic winchline. A big thanks to Barry at TLC in Columbia, TN for an awesome install job.

Looks great! One thing to check (or have checked) with your winch is if there's a drainage hole on it. With my 9.5xp there's a small one and when you clock the winch to mount it foot forward it faces forward as well instead of down to drain. What ended up happening with mine is every time the winch got submerged, water got in but didn't have any way to drain out again and it corroded a bunch of stuff. Had to take the whole thing apart and clean it up to get it working again.

Question for you as an ex FJ owner, how would you compare the two? I've spent plenty of time in my buddy's '10 FJ back when I used to live in AZ and really liked it minus the awkward visibility and small gas tank.. Cheers!

you're welcome I came very close to taking your offer. Bumper looks great. How much did they charge for the install?

wish i would have known you were gonna have it installed yesterday, Im just up the road from COlumbia and would have loved to have seen the setup.

At the conclusion of the FJ Summit and pre-Summit Moab trip I made a short trek to CBI for the installation of the rear bumper.
