Back In A 3rd Gen

Hey guys for a little bit I took a break from owning a 3rd until yesterday. About a week ago I was considering selling my 02 DC Tacoma and picking up another 3rd gen but the one I was looking at was way over priced for the condition so I stopped looking. Well recently my grandmother who I take care of had to have brain surgery. Bills started coming in for that that were not covered by insurance and knew that was stressing her out so I decided that I would sell my Tacoma to help her with her medical bills. She knows how much I love having a 4x4 toyota so she suggested I should look for one that is a little bit cheaper. So I hope on craigslist friday morning and come to find out there is a 99 5 spd 4x4 with 184k miles for sale locally. Yesterday morning I went and checked it out, its in really good condition and drove really well but a little bit of rust underneath because the owner goes back and forth between Texas and Colorado all the time. He had just put in over 1800 dollars replacing the clutch, brakes, and shocks. We were able to settle on a price and now I am the proud owner of another 3rd gen! The manual will take sometime to get used to but I am really liking it so far. Here is a picture of my 99. I will get some more later.

It's really admirable of you to get rid of something you loved to help your grandmother out, honestly -- huge props on that. Most people your age would never do stuff like that. Your good karma got you another great 4x4 Toyota (the 3rd gen) -- so congrats!

Thanks a lot! She pretty much raised so I am willing to make sacrifices for her just like she did for me. Ya I know people in my age range are kinda in a selfish stage of their lives. Karma was definitely good to me for this 4runner. It needs a few things here and there but what 15 year old vehicle doesn't.

Nice truck, good job on taking care of your family, more people should be like this instead the entitled pricks they usually are.
