Back in the game...

Hey all, it's been a few years since I've been on here. I previously owned an 04 Sport V8 which I have missed every day since trading it in (don't ask), but a few days ago I finally made my way back to a 4 runner when I picked up an 05 SR5 with some options, it seems. I was spoiled with the Sport as it never gave me a problem, but almost as soon as I drove this 05 off the lot, the tach and temp gauges started giving me issues, tach not working at all. SO, it is back at the dealership hopefully getting repaired. She's got some other little issues but nothing I can not fix over time. I did a search and found some minimal info on what is involved in repairing the dash instruments, but not really a time frame or cost. Anyone have any info on this? TIA!!

Welcome back to the fold! I too made the jump from a 4th gen Sport to an SR5. Though I did miss the 10 speaker JBL and hood scoop, I couldn't be happier with my SR5 and have made it the way that I want it. Hope you enjoy the new ride

No plans for a build... haha... yet. Wife already said I need to throw some black wheels on it. Wanted to get into another one for it's longevity and comfort honestly. For now, it will just be the family wagon. It's an SR5 with a sunroof, JBL system and some other little things. Needs some attention here and there but it seems to be running smoothly. Just hoping it holds up without too many hiccups for a long time. I miss the XREAS suspension honestly, this one will take some getting used to!! Thanks all!
