Back Up Lights

I live on the end of a dirt road. No lights. Stared at the back of my new 4runner for a while.

Did this:

Ordered 2 10W Floods from Vision X.
Used a handful of fender and lock washers I had.
Lowered the spare
Built a wiring harness
Unplugged the 7/4 trailer hitch.
Drove myself crazy figuring what wires did what.
Found out yellow and white/black were the answer.
Used a lot of electrical tape and zip ties.

Nice work, those are nice and small but also bright. Only problem I see is eliminating the use of your receiver hitch. I guess if you really need to pull something, you can unbolt temporary.

Awesome idea!

I might try the same thing, but move the lights up into that empty spot above the receiver hitch.

My project list is getting longer.....
