Back window question...

This may be kind of a dumb question but is it okay to have the back window in the liftgate partway down when opening and closing the liftgate?

Reason I ask is I had it halfway down and when I closed the hatch the window didnt seem to like it much. I was a little scared that it would a) break b) come off track or C) break the motor and/or hardware

Does it even matter?

After I read your post I noticed when shutting my liftgate tonight with the window half-way down it did seem a little wobbly.Not sure if it would become a problem or not if you do that often but it does seem happier with the window all the way up before closing.
I drive all the time though with the gate window half-way down with no problems.

it just rattles around in there, but there's not enough movement for it to really break anything...you should be fine, I do it all the time
