What years are compatable with a 1986 4runner?

For a direct drop in fit, 1985-1989. 1984 4runners were mostly without a rear seat, and the ones that I have seen with a rear seat were all vinyl. I would imagine you could use rear seats from a second gen but more than likely you would be modifying things to get it to bolt up.

As stated, 84 to 89 is a direct bolt in fit.
If you need a set of rear seats I have a very nice set of gray vinyl seats with headrests.

At least on the east coast, the rear seat was pretty much standard on 84's. I've only seen one with the deck insert.

early 2nd gen rear seats will work as well, i pulled some from a 90/91 that bolted up perfectly
