Backup camera aim

Has anyone experienced the aim of the backup camera moving. All of a sudden I have a very good view of my rear license plate and not much else. I do have the entune premium. I did have a new tire put on due to running over something that cut it deeply and they used a floor jack on the rear passenger side, but I wouldn't think that would have any thing to do with it. Any suggestions.

I experienced this after putting on new license plates (or at least I think it moved). I am unsure of how the position would have shifted, but I could swear that I see much more license plate than I did before. Who knows, maybe I'm losing it!

I googled the forums a month or so ago and from what I could tell and pictures I could dig up the license seems to be visible in all I found. I'd like to aim mine up a bit too.

When I first put in my license plate, I was absolutely positive the camera angle had changed to where I could now see the plate. However, after seeing people bring this up on another occasion on this forum, I think it's just the way the camera and license plate sit and people suddenly notice more of their plate. If you see your plates in your camera view, it is completely normal.

I noticed the same after changing license plate and also thought I must have just been imagining it. Wonder if the entune software update changed some crop setting?

I'd like to aim mine up as well, who's going to be the guinea pig?

The thing is that all I was seeing was the bumper and the area behind the truck until I had the tire changed now all I see is the license plate.

I believe this is an intentional safety feature on the vehicle, as it allows you to verify that your tabs have not been stolen before heading out for a day of adventure.

It sounds like the camera lens has shifted somehow.

i can see my plate a little and sometimes when there is a drop of water on it i get a fish eyed view of the sky or the ground

Found out happened, something had hit the lift gate just below the camera and put a dent in the sheet metal causing the camera housing to be pushed in. I am going to try to knock the dent out by removing the gate liner and working from the back. No clue as what hit the gate but the paint was not even chipped.
