Backup Camera Inside

Hey Everyone,

I'm debating whether to install a backup camera inside or outside the vehicle. I've seen quite a few threads about installing it near the license plate area.

However, I remember seeing someone install it INSIDE the vehicle. However, for the life of me, I can't find that thread. Does anyone know who installed the camera inside the vehicle, right by the top of the tailgate?

Any help would be appreciated.

I think I remember seeing that thread. I think they might have even posted a pic view. Depending on the angle it might be a view more "downish" rather than "outish". Your camera will probably last longer being inside.

This isn't a bad idea. It would negate the need to take apart/drill the tail gate. I might go this route!
