Bad U-Joint

Here's what a bad U-Joint looks like:

There was only 1 pin bering left in this section. These were changed out just in time. Tell tale sign was a very noticeable noise while driving, especially at highway speeds. Replaced both. Had my neighbor help me remove and replace the drive shaft. Stopped the clunking sound when shifting from park to drive and from drive to Reverse. You could also notice and feel alot of play when spinning the drive shaft in nutral.

Yes that's what a failed u joint looks like. Hope you put quality joints in. Auto parts store brands fail pretty quickly.
