Put on the new shoes today!
I'm going to have to have to remove the front fenders and do build tube fenders for clearance.

They are 37 1250 15 Maxxis creepy crawlies. The measure 36 inch.

Not a good day for me pulled off the brake drums and found it that they were missing everything on the inside. The only thing I have left is a wider ifs rear axle and in the brake drum system on that is totally different.

Thats one of the reasons why I will only really consider a Toyota swap into a Toyota swap. You have a different (faster!) soul. Nevertheless, its still an awesome build!

What are you planning on the rusted fenders? Fiberglass repair?

Well the only thing not Toyota is the engine. The rest is all factory Toyota parts.

As for the fenders they will be removed in place of tube fenders and I'm sourcing a shot box to cut up in order to make a trophy truck style bed.

hahaha that's the lightweight rear brake option

Well i just ordered the rear disc brake conversion kit.
Hopefully I'll have it by this weekend. And I'll be test driving the truck around d town! Stay tuned.

Made a new shift boot today. Trimmed the fenders.
And installed a left over bumper I had laying in the parts pile. I need to build the rear bumper and finish the flatbed then I can drive it around town.

I need some help guys. I'm missing a washer fluid resovore and the transfer case wiring harness. If anyone has spares please let me know!

I have a BMW e30 washer fluid reservoir if that would help.
There are two Toyota pickups and one or two four runners at Weller. I think there is a wiring harness part still unless my son grabbed it. It's a second gen.

2nd gen won't do any good.
It wouldn't mate to the first gen harness.

I was thinking the same thing as the side exit in the back would make it so the fumes wouldn't roll back at me! I think I can sneak it up to dump near the top of the flat bed out the side. It would suck for anyone e next to me at a light during testing but what can you do

This weekend is all about making the truck road worthy so I can really test it and make adjustments.

Have to make the bed acceptable to local laws on height and tire coverage.

Then disc brake conversion for the rear axle.

Shift boot I made works perfectly no noise or fumes coming through the floor.

Last but not least I'm looking local for some used tires to run so I don't ruin my creepy crawlies.

Stay tuned I may need some input on the bed design.

Progress. All I need to do is put the rear piece in for the other side of the fender wall. I ran out of tubing.

Then the storage box in The Big Empty Square towards the back and then the top sheet metal.

I have to get some 2 OD for the big roll bar at the front pipe in the fuel fill.
