Badges and emblems questions...

Just curious... do the T4R's come with the "LIMITED" or "SR5" emblems from the factory or does the dealer put them on before delivery?

We have a 2011 BP Limited ordered and it just came in to the dealer. My buddy who works for the dealership had access to their back lot and took pics of the truck and it didn't have the "LIMITED" emblem on the C pillar. He checked if that was our truck and it is.

It seems USA only SR5/Limiteds have emblems. http://www.toyota-4runner.org/5th-gen-t4rs/72760-2011-limited-badging.html#post620555

hmmm, but we're considered US market here in Guam.

Ha ha ha. She just moved here from Virginia. Sold it there before she left.
What's wrong with a Corolla?! :p

I have a 2009 audi a6 (very similar to your old 530), and I could not even imagine driving a corolla after that, not saying there is anything wrong with a corolla, but its obviously in an entire different league...

sorry, back to the topic, all badges come on from the boat..

Bonus, saves you some time debadging it

yeah, I guess.

I still don't get why everyone was bothered with the BMW 530 to a Corolla jump. The BMW had more problems in the same amount of time she had the Corolla.

Isn't the badging only on one side? Did you see pics of both sides?

No, they should be on both sides....
And yes, I saw pics of both sides of the truck.

Picking "Fiona" up on Monday... I guess we'll have to wait for the answer when I ask my salesman.

Meh, not bothered at all really, just yanking you. Fact is, from a reliability standpoint, I have no doubt which is better. I bought my sister an '04 Corolla two years ago, and it hasn't cost anything in repairs - nada.

alright...

Anyways.. I see your avatar pic, did you really retrofit HID projectors on your headlights? nice!

I know Toyota is just holding out on HID's on the 4Runners until probably the 2012 or 2013 model year.
