Baja Designs Squadron LED fog replacement kit

Just saw this on Tacoma World, and thought I would post this over here too considering there was just a BD group buy. Hoping to order mine soon :bounce:

B]Baja Designs (BD) is back at it again with the Plug and Play kits!
This time for Tacoma, 4Runner, and Tundra fog pocket!!! This kit works with our Squadron-R Sport, Pro, and Racer Edition providing at least 3-5x more usable light.
Best of all there is no need for additional wiring or switches inside the vehicle.

Rigid Industries offers the same thing. In fact, I just bought the kit from TAP. Check it out HERE

The fog lights provided are SAE/street legal. Or you can just buy the adapters and use either the Dually or Dually D2 LED cubes.

I just ordered a pair of the Squadron Pro amber driving/combo lights. I called and was able to get the wiring adapter since these are going in a Demello front bumper. I hope these turn out nice.

Does anyone know if these will blind people? I'm assuming yes and this should only be used for offroad?

I contacted Bailey from Baja Designs to ask about which one would be best for retaining the stock functionality for my truck, and to sum it up, the Squadron Sport will be the closest to street usable, and will be up to the driver's discretion on whether or not to use them depending on where they live. The wide cornering lens will give the best 'streetable' light pattern with the least amount of potential oncoming blindage. Intended for off road, yes, but could they be used when there is no oncoming to provide more visibility, that's up to the driver to decide.

As for the Squadron Pros...

Any idea how long this will last?

End of the month is never a good time for me. Just spread out my second paycheck, across the various real life accounts, so I'll be laying low for the next two weeks till the toy-check comes in.

#4Runnerproblems

Call 1(800)422-5292x114, ask for Bailey and ask him how long they'll be around. That would be the best way to find out.

Rigid does not offer the same thing. Rigid states for '14+ 4runnera while the Baja Designs claim to fit '10+.

Bailey maintains a constant discounted price for all TacomaWorld members no matter what time of the month or year it is. The shipping deal is what I believe to be a limited time offer.
