Has anyone done or entered 1st gen 4runner in a baja race an know the rules and regs. for stock mini class? Iv done bugs before for baja but never 4runners would be awesome as a next build to make a baja 4runner and try something like the baja 250.

We have been involved in professional offroad racing for a long time, you may want to look into the different series and see what class suits you best - SCORE (Baja 500 & 1000 host) is a pretty expensive series.

These are some of the classes it could fit.
SCORE Class 3 (4wd)
SCORE Stock Mini
SCORE Class 7 / 7sx
SCORE 1400 Open

BITD Class 3000 - =Score Class 3
BITD Class 3100 - Pure Stock - Mini SUV
BITD Class 7100 - =Score Class 7 S - Stock Mini
BITD Class 7200 - Unlimited Mini or Mid-Size Truck
BITD Class 7300 - Pure Stock - Mini Truck
BITD Class 1800 - Safari Prerunner

SNORE Class 3
SNORE Class 7s
SNORE Heavy Metal
SNORE 1450

thanks, i was thinking of doing 7100 stock mini but could not find the regulations. and ya i don't want to start with the 1000 I live near a area where baja 500 is held, might try that if i can get the $ after finishing the truck. I did work with Lucas Oils trophy Truck and baja devision when i was younger but never did on my own, or how a 1st gen 4runner would do/class
