I just contacted Baja about our groups 3/11 estimated shipping date and was informed that the shipping date is now 4/1.

I called them on 3/11, which was my ship date to find out if mine was delayed since I hadn't heard anything. They said it was still shipping that day and I received a shipping invoice that night. It was supposed to arrive 3/15 but I got a new email stating there was a delay and then a little bit after that I got a call from UPS setting up a delivery of 3/16. So mine is only going to be 1 day late.

Roof Paint Detail

I just made sure I had the silicon sealer in hand to place around the roof fittings.
Also, I gave the roof a good clay bar treatment, polish , paint sealer and wax cause it's gonna be a while before I can do a decent paint protection/correction.

Picking up my rack from UPS Freight today. It might be a few days before I can get it on. Hopefully by next week it'll be on. Warmer non rainy days next week. Plus I'm getting my roof vinyl wrapped before the rack goes on.

Got the rack installed, which was a fairly simple install and then had a 50" curved light bar I got as a gift didn't think I'd be able to use it. But a friend and I made some brackets out of sheet metal that worked great. My brother is going to have a friend at his work C&C some solid ones outta bullet aluminum, so these will work until then.

Wind noise with the rack was barely noticeable (had to have the radio off to hear it and my friend said the problems solved when I throw some real off-road tires on LOL), with the light bar there is a whistle under 20mph and a little more wind noise above 55mph.

Been meaning to post this since Friday, things have been busy for me so now I'm posting. Rack came in. Box was beat up fairly bad. Pulled out the rack and all seemed well. Had the UPS guys dispose of the box for me. Took the rack to a buddy's for storage until after I get my roof vinyl wrapped. Hopefully I get the roof wrapped and rack on by this coming Thursday.

Delivered and installed today! quite happy with it..

Removed my stock rack and satellite antenna today. Then modified the rubber washers to fit around the white plastic pieces that are in the bolt holes. Then I delivered the 4Runner to the wrap shop. Should have the 4Runner back tomorrow and then the bajarack will go on :thumb:

They're only there to keep water from pouring down the holes incase it rains tonight and they don't pull the 4Runner into the shop lol. I mean water will still pour into the sat antenna hole but it's better than that one plus all the others lmao!! I'm going to use silicone sealant around the white plastic pieces and some in the holes before I put the Bajarack's legs and bolts in.
