Sorry for the delay, I've been off the site for a while. Pic of my bajarack and ladder...absolutely love them both.

Will it work with a non Baja roof rack like a Yakima?

I thought I saw the other thread but how does it attach again??

I like the little bend in it for some reason.
 
I wasnt sure about the bend at first, but after having it now for some time i LOVE it. helps tremendously with visibility and really does follow the curve of the vehicle nicely. In the other thread is the quote from bajarack on how it attaches. I am NOT mechanically inclined by any means and I installed it myself in about 10 minutes. extremely easy and extremely sturdy. I believe they charged me $100 or $125 which included freight as I was the first one, I believe they are charging the same to others but do not know for sure.

Very sharp! Did you get that directly from the Bajarack website? I've been looking around for it, but can't find it on their site; only seeing the one for the FJ model. How'd you get yours?

yea, i called them a few hours ago with another question and figured I would ask about the ladder and the gentleman I talked to said they weren't for sale but if he found out some more info he would email it to me with some other things he was sending me, needless to say, nothing was in the email about the ladder.
 
I just re-emailed Jesus @ BajaRack and here was his response:

I say everyone of us that reads this thread calls Baja and asks about the Rack...

Im sure if all of us call, they wont turn down the money!!!

We can get them to make more!!! can someone post the # to make it super easy, Im not, but some people would only do this with the phone # right on their screen!! CMON GUYS and girls!! , lets do this!!
 
I went ahead and sent my friends Jesus and Sergio the link to this thread so they can see the demand for this product. I really hope you guys are successful in getting yours. I absolutely love mine!

Gentleman, I'm in total agreement with showing the demand is there for the product, however, I also agree that the $200 may be a little excessive. I think that if we can all order maybe together, they will provide us with a price break. In fact, if our founding fathers could contact them, maybe they can work out a discount for all T4R members.

In the next 2-3 weeks I planning on getting a rack from them (br-ty4rg3) and the ladder, so if we could get a small discount from them I would love that, cause I'm about to drop about $700 with them so any break would be great!!
 
just keep telling them to refer to this thread, as i'd like one for the $150 price the op paid.

so if the price dropped to $150 + shipping and i had 2 weeks notice, i would have my order in.

lol 250? There were $200 in the other thread. I think I'll just carry a Homeless Depot $20 ladder in my truck.
 
yeah i dont quite understand the pricing. i paid 100 or 150, i cannot remember. maybe after making the initial one the production cost was actually higher. anyway, best of luck to you all in getting yours!

I have been discussing pricing with BAJARACK and at this point, we are looking at $200 for the ladder and $20 for the shipping. This is the best that they can do, and I am awaiting a response on a tentative shipping date, guys.

I am certainly on the list for one- it may be a good idea to get a SOMEWHAT final count on who will be ordering because apaprently it is going to be VERY LIMITED production. In fact, I was told they were going to make them "specially" for us T4R members!

That said--- HOW MANY ORDERS ARE WE LOOKING AT??
 
I just got mine ordered with Jesus @ BajaRack....$200+30 shipping, I ordered my rack as well so it was a little more, you may be able to work a discount with them, I mentioned I was a member on here and yota-tech, so they hooked it up. The estimated shiping date is April 20th (4 week lead time). Good luck to everyone else!! Glad with this thread we were able to sway them to make some more!! Now I don't have to spend almost $2000 with Gobi now for a rack and ladder setup.
