Bank2 Sensor 2 help

Help Anyone,
I got a code of p0156 bank 2 sensor2 And I replaced the down stream sensor
just after a converter. It lasted about 2hrs and the cel came on again.

So i disconnected the sensor and reinstalled it again and the same thing happened it went off and lasted several hours then the cel came on again.


any help would be greatly appericated

Have you tried disconnecting the battery? You'll have to reset your windows and stuff, but it might be worth a shot. Another thing... I'm not at all sure about this, but sometimes it takes a couple of ignition sequences for a vehicle to run that diagnostic again and notice the new sensor. Maybe this is true for a Gen4?

AFter I replaced the sensor The lights went off, then after several hours they came back on, So i am thinking the ignition sequences would not apply here. but i will try the battery.

Hook it up to the code reader again after your install. Could be another sensor that malfunctioned, or your new one could be faulty...
