Agreed.

The reality is this is the perfect place to buy a somewhat modern car. Case in point that Maserati and 2003 Mustang Mach 1 went for a fair price.
Few years ago a fully kitted out custom Lexus RX400 Fender edition(guitar brand) with over "25k" in extras only sold for 30k. Ended up being a solid deal for a basic daily driver with nothing to obnoxious on it.

Bucketlist is my friend and I are going to go one year.
 
I have been once in 05 with my uncle who has semi deep pockets and his friend, who has very deep pockets. The latter bought a 356 Porsche in some rare color and a non Judge GTO. At least I got to sit in an F40. Beautiful car.

Gooding and Company has the auction at Pebble Beach which offers the real rare exotics. It is all class there.

Definitely get out there one year in the desert. Its a fun time.
 
Very cool cars at these! A few years back I was in Scottsdale and saw their signs and drove in to check it out. Found out it didn't start until the next day so my wife and I decided to go anyway. We drove in the participant entrance, waved to the security and parked. We spent a couple hours walking around looking at the cars to be auctioned and indoor displays. It was great, just us, a few vendors and security.

Was a great replica Porsche slant nose that went for cheap yesterday, and my neighbor growing up had an F40. . .still the best looking car in motion and standing still I have ever seen to this day.
 
Oh man. I'm such a big boat lover. Love watching any classic, but especially the big rides from the late 50's and early 60's. Convertible if possible, but I would totally rock a 1957 Cadillac Eldorado Brougham. I mean, it has a set of four magnetic tumblers in the glovebox!

One day I'll be back in one...

The early Dodge Power Wagons have been amazing this year. There seems to be more this year on the block than years past. If I won a powerball I would be getting a fleet of these things. The early ones look better than this M37 that went yesterday. I know there is a company out there that reproduces these things too.

I also would've picked up this Olds 442. I absolutely love these cars. My neighbor had one a couple years ago he bought it in 1980 and let me drive it a couple times. It was a 442 with a 4 speed and man was that the best car I've ever driven. So much powaaahhhh! 1970 OLDSMOBILE 442 2-DOOR POST

Saw the special and watched a few videos on those. Absolutely amazing...absolutely astronomical pricing.
