I'm sure this has been answered somewhere buried in one of the radio installation threads, but I was hoping somebody could help me out anyway. I'm replacing the generic non-JBL radio in my 2004 SR5:
I've pulled the radio and found that I have some extra plugs I don't know what to do with. Specifically I have the Metra 70-1761 adaptor kit recommended by Crutchfield, but it only accounts for the two sockets on the back panel shown:
The socket on the far left is also used and has three wires connected to its mating plug as shown:
I don't know what these three wires are for and whether I need to hook them up to the new radio in some way (there doesn't appear to be a place to connect them in any case). Do I just leave the extra plug hanging and ignore it in the installation?
In addition, do I need to do anything with the smaller 2nd antenna (socket shown in picture above) or can I leave that hanging too?
Thanks a lot guys!
