Battery connect alarm sounds, please help

What brand is it? Did you look it up? Maybe you have a pretty decent alarm and all you need is the remote.

All aftermarket alarms are junk in my tired grumpy opinion. Don't even get me started on the useless installers using Scotchlok type connectors and making a mess of a perfectly good vehicle.

But I do like my remote start!

I'd somewhat have to disagree, I love my viper alarm with remote start and don't think it's junk at all, I haven't had any issues with it for a few years now. I do agree with you though on the installers, that's why I installed mine myself.

Aftermarket alarms are only as good as the installer.
I had my Alpine alarm installed a week after buying the truck new and other than replacing the remote a few times from wear & tear, no problems.
