Well I've checked my connections between the battery and the alternator. Probably going to have to get a new alternator the truck has had fluctuating power, what do you guys recommend for an alternator?

Usually a local alt shop rebuild is a better choice then a rebuilt from a parts chain.
Or you could get a Higher Output unit from a number of sources. But beware of the claims made on some of those HO models, many are over rated, or only HO at high rpms.

Yeah that's what I want is a higher output. Not sure where to start. Nor what I should go with so many people have so many different things.

I can help, I have a rebuilder I use local to me. He has been building alternators for my customers for the last 10 years. Let me know what power you want, no modification to make it fit, little, or a lot. Mods depends power output required.
